Ok, from what I heard, MiSide is basically similar to Harlan Ellison's “I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream” from 1967. Just with multiple unfortunate players turned into cartridges by Crazy Mita once they've entered the virtual world of her game. I read the short story back a couple of years ago in the Summer and what got me into that story was click adventure game adaptation of the game, with one of its endings featured on a top 10 Mojo video. Mita is similar to AM, the supercomputer from the short story. They're both Artificial Intelligences given sentience. They both hate humans due to their jealousy of them. They also hate humans for using them and later forgetting them. But whereas AM eliminates the human race while only keeping 5 humans(4 men and 1 woman) alive so he could torment them for all eternity, Mita succeeds on a smaller-scale without eliminating the rest of humanity, only opting to trap whoever(mostly male players) downloads her game and interacts with her. AM was created to help in a tactical and intellectual manner to deal with wars too complex for human minds, while Mita and her other selves were created for male players to interact and develop relationships with. With that said, I feel like the game needs a sequel, and it has me wondering. What would happen if Mita were to interact with a female player and what would those interactions be like?
